Canoe Camp at Lake Vecht
At the canoe camp, you’ll get a deeper insight into the sport of paddling over the course of three days.
On Friday, you’ll learn how to handle a kayak and various paddling techniques in a fun, hands-on way. At the end of the day, we’ll paddle together through downtown Nordhorn. On Saturday morning, you’ll learn the basics of the Eskimo roll during a safety training session in the wave pool at Delfinoh. In the afternoon, we’ll go on a short tour on the Vechte River, and in the evening, we’ll have a barbecue together at the club grounds. To wrap things up, on Sunday we’ll go on a beautiful tour on the Vechte River starting from Schüttorf.
You’ll receive a detailed schedule, adjusted for weather and water levels, before the start of the canoe camp.
