Painting Ceramics—Muesli Bowls, Plates, or Cups (Ages 6–9)
Together, we’ll transform plain white ceramic blanks—like mugs, plates, or bowls—into colorful works of art that you can use as everyday tableware later on.
First, you’ll decorate the outside of your piece using various creative tools like brushes, stamps, or a toothbrush for splattering. You can choose from a wide selection of beautiful glazes. Next, it’s time to work on the inside of your piece, which you can decorate with soap bubbles or further embellish with colorful designs.
The ceramics then need to dry for a while, after which they’ll be glazed and fired in the kiln.
Starting November 10, your creations will be ready for pickup at the Eulennest.
